I looked at trying to get an F-series front grille-guard to work on my E-van, but the holes definitely do not line up for those. I think the brackets for the guards mount in similar holes to the front hitches. Sorry, that's not a definitive answer, but I'm pretty sure the F- and E-series bolt holes are different. Is your van 2WD or 4WD? If 2WD, I don't think you'll find any lower-profile hitch than what Bbasso posted (the same type I have), as the only thing that hangs down is the receiver. The only way to make it more low-profile would be do have it come through a bumper cutout.

If you just want a recovery point, why not just bolt a hook to your frame in the front somewhere? A lot cheaper and easier. Or you could just carry a set of "cluster hooks" for the very-occasional use (like https://www.amazon.com/Cluster-Hooks.../dp/B0054HMFZM)

My bumper is lower profile than most and the drop down hitch sits a few inches lower.....I donít dig it.

It also seems like the large opening on my bumper is spaced perfectly for the hitch i found on EBay to poke through.
