I am running a truck tune that is warmed up a bit, based on the old McRats 20/20 tune(a little milder version of it) so I'm probably at 400/700. It's full egr delete, billet turbo wheel, bigger down pipe, 4" exhaust. Trans has the LML dual disc converter and Transgo Jr kit.

Really nice. I’d think maybe you’re making a little more torque at that hp level? Plenty enough to get it going and out of its own way for sure. I’m sure you’re thrilled to finally have out on the road after all that work. Congratulations again.

Hard to tell without getting it on a dyno...it pulls hard and the tune cleaned up the throttle response a bunch...I think the mpgs gained a bit too. Yeah, nice to have it drive-able, I can pace myself on "finishing it up"..

Hi,
How’d you get SMB to make that back-of-the-bed extension? I was going to try a diy version, but I’d guess they know where the ins and outs are...better than I do! How much did they ask for that at the time?

Hi,
Looks a lot like mine! I have the 2005 3500 Express van. Trying to make some changes now. Remove Starcool A/C, enlarge bed a bit, and add solar panels.
My top is a bit shorter than yours, but not by a whole
bunch. Basic white.

Hi,
God I LOVE your drawer space!!! Surely wish I had that now. But is in my plans once the A/C is removed.
Plus enlarging the bed a bit and adding solar panels.
A few other things too small to mention.

Just finished updating my van slide show reflecting many of the modifications we have made over the 18 years we have had the van.

2002 Chevy express 3500 Collins bus
2002 Chevy express 3500 Collins activity bus 70,000 miles currently Chevy 5.7 V8
Here is my latest project. Finally finished it took the last 3 months finishing it. Has 2” of spray foam throughout with pine tongue and groove. All custom cabinets and bench seat that turns into a dinette.
Electrical is 315 watt solar panel, 2 150 amp hour batteries, Renogy charge controller, inverterer, sterling battery to battery charger. All lights, chargers, fridge, fan, and outside lights are on DC power. Fridge is a truck fridge 130 model.
Has a 42 gallon water tank between the wheel wells under the bed. Has a Manchester propane undermount tank. Ecotemp shower that is mounted to back door so it’s outside only. Propane powered grill stored in back boxes.
Ford transit passenger seat that turns around in camp so it’s easy to get in and out.
The front bumper is a move bumper that I had welded locally only weighs about 75 pounds and cost $500 plus welding. Way cheaper than the other options.
The roof has a 25” sailboat hatch that opens and allows access to the rooftop cedar deck.
