This guy did it.

I would be worried if really needed would it hold up to the weight of these vehicles for winching.

I am installing the ARB bumper with MG mounts.

Hey MG, which Sahara are your adapters made for? I see there are some for rams, tundra, land cruiser... and I'm a bit confused

Sorry I’m not MG but they are made for the Ford Sahara bumper.

Notice the similarities between the van and truck here...
ARB Modular Sahara Bar for Ford F250-F350 2008-09 (3936150)

The brackets are designed for the 2008-2009 F-series ARB Sahara bumper.

Might need a new coat of paint but for about $100 bucks all in (including welding) I'm happy. I was also able to integrate by bike carrier in so I don't have to unload them every time. The flood lights are wired to relay off my backup lights.

I don't either but I live in the oilfield. Mobile welders are a dime a dozen. They'll come right to you.

Here is a picture of the ARB I recently took when test fitting. I have the MG brackets for 08 and later years and I am in the process of the front end swap. I love the way it looks roughly mocked up.
