Lifting a 2WD Van, part # 999???

If you just want a little more room and don't want to drop 2K, I'm pretty sure these would give you 2" of lift give or take.

They are for the F series, but the E and F share the same coils, so I'm thinking...

You know this might be worth looking into. It's cheap enough & all you need is that couple extra inches. The other way is to buy a set of longer springs & I think there is a post with some part numbers on the forum somewhere. I also spoke with Dever Suspension & they told me that they would cut whatever length spring that I needed. I like the idea of a total spring replacement but I'm sure the spacers would work just fine for what you are trying to achieve. Thanks for the post!

I am used to coil spring spacers in the Jeep world, however we have always used them on TOP of the spring, as they fit over the bump stop tube. Somehow that seems more stable then the add a thread used at the bottom, but it's just a guess. I would think there would be more options in different full-size rig heights and applications (meaning top of the coil spring) as they are a pretty simple piece over all.

The analogous piece in the back would be a lift block for the leaf springs.

keep in mind that if you're going to use a coil spacer in conjunction with a lift spring on a 2wd I beam set up that you can only lift the vehicle so far before you'll need to bend the beams or drop the ibeam pivots to maintain proper camber AND lower your radius arm pivots or modify your radius arms to keep your caster in spec.

adjustable alignment cams only go so far, and when you're close to maxing them out to achieve proper camber/caster (4º on a lot of them) you're putting additional strain on your upper ball joints.

They won't work.

I just tried an identical pair from Maxx-Lift and it turns out they are made to fit the F-Series trucks only.
Maxx-Lift.com advertised them as fitting '03 E-250 but this is incorrect.

The biggest difference is the "extention" nuts shown in the picture have no where to go on an E-Series van.

Totally different coil retainer mounting bracket and hardware on the vans. You can make the spacers work if you replace the knucle joint bolts w/ 10" grade 8 bolts and do a little more fabbing but I wouldn't recommend it.

KillerRC made the maxx lift kit work by using a 8" grade 8 bolt, not included in the kit. His van is a 2010, however. I have a kit and am waiting for the time to see what I can so with it.

I installed this type of spring spacer 2". It worked for the most part. The bolt extensions worked fine. The main issue was the bottom of the spacer were the hole for the attach bolt has a square corner. The spud on the I-beam has a radius. This keeps the surface of the spacer just off the surface of the I-beam. A few turns on a lathe and problem solved.
