Looking for suggested auto body shop in San Diego

On our last trip out while we were driving up out of the Borrego Valley our right rear tire had a catastrophic tread failure losing the entire tread. It took off the plastic fender flare but of more importance it did the damage shown below.

I am looking for suggestion on a good auto body shop in the San Diego area which actually do auto body work not just swap out parts. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Re: Looking for suggested auto body shop in San Diego

My very good friends Gabriel and Sheri Hernandez own California Auto Body and Frame. Great people and work. They actually do the body and paint for the Ford Dealership next door...

Gabriel and I used to partner in salvage flips almost 30 years ago when he was just starting out working for another friend on ours.

Tell him Ramsey sent you over and they will take good care of you.

Rick, yes it was a BFF A/T K0. Only K02 in our size and load range were available so ended up getting 2 new ones on the back.

Ramsey, thanks for the recommendation.

Ended up taking the beast to Benny 's Auto Body on University Ave east of College Ave. They were recommended by an auto shop I trust and it is a bit closer.
