Missing Table Mystery -Where'd it mount?

Hi:

My SMB had a table top that was held in place up against the rear cabinet with a couple of snaps. Table is gone, but I can tell it was there from the rub marks on the cabinet. Funny thing is, there is no hole in the floor or other mount that I can find that would have once held the table top in place. Did some tables use the rear hitch? Can anyone shed any light on this mystery? Wouldn't mind fab'n up a new table as the deminsions are easy to determine from the marks on the cabinet. Thanks.

You're thinking old school where there was a mount in the floor. The new school is a 3-legged base that can be put anywhere inside or outside the van. The column and legs are stored in the under-the-second-side-door hole (at least in my 50).

I found my table top hiding under the bench seat in my "50".

Thanks Jage. So, I'm thinking a smaller "Lifetime" table will fill that need better than building a table.

Thanks Joanna. Nope, nutt'n but an inverter and 16 gal water storage under my seat. The table is probably being used to display a bunch of South American hand woven llama wool hats and a selection of rasta shirts at a Saturday Market somewhere by now.

Jage is correct about the type of table that is used now. Our table is still in our garage, the only time it has been in the van is when we picked it up from Sportsmobile. We really will never use a table inside the van based on our layout and the dogs. However, we do use a table a lot outside. We use a roll top table that stores smaller than the SMB table and offers a bigger and more stable platform.

We have both set ups with our table. A receiver (guess thats what you'd call it) in the floor....plus also have the 3 legged for setting up outside or where ever.

No, your table is being used to display my stolen camera equipment and my husband's stolen tools at the flea market of the Gods.

I had a table, but it was badly warped, and very heavy. I replaced it with a small folding table from camping world that has three built-in heights. I mounted it on the back wall with clamps (for brooms,etc.) mounted sideways. It's lighter, and works much better for me, inside and out. It also does not fall over when cornering (which the old one used to do). All in all, a great solution for under $20.
