OEM Ford truck wheels, what will fit?.........again

OK, I know this has been asked, but I can't seem to find it. I'm watching CL for some F-series wheels but I'm not sure exactly what will fit my van. I know that the older truck wheels are the same as our vans and the newer ones arent, but not sure of the cutoff year.
Can someone answer this definitively? My van is an 02 with factory steel 16x7s, and since my tires are great I am considering some OEM F-series wheels (probably painted or dipped black) to get me by til tire buying time, when I might go up a size.

Thanks

1998 (Ibelieve) was the transition from 8x6.5"(165mm) to 8x170mm.

2002 is 8x170

For the F truck you are correct.

F truck 8x6.5" until 1997(8) and a 8x170mm after.
E van was 8x6.5" up to 2007(8). and a 8x170mm after. If you have a 4x4 conversion that may change.

So stock (no 4x4 conversion), 2002 E van will need F wheels prior to 1998.

Are you sure about that? I thought the vans were still 8X6.5"

I thought that when the van went to bigger disk they changed the bolt pattern.
Everything I just searched online is indicating the same (Few tire/wheel places), 8x6.5 is 93-08, and 08 on is 8x170.

I did a similar websearch before I posted above. Most indicated 8x6.5 and one showed what you posted. I guess I'd really like to know the real answer.

I just did some more searches, I think your right. Some state metric but most 8x6.5.
