rear AC or not rear AC

OK I am preparing my RB 42 style build and my first obstacle is the Rear AC in my Chevy Express Passenger van... The AC unit is in the rear left hand corner of the van and taking up loads of usable space...

We here have quite mild climate and use AC really only in July/August with 35 deg. Celsius max...

The problem is with my idea of a 2 meter gaucho on the drivers side the AC is rather in the way...

I do have front AC but what would it entail removing the rear AC? I am not sure if circuits are separate or not...

I don't even no if I want to keep it???

Do you have any advice??? Thx

We live in Southern California coast and we have similar weather at about 35 Celsius max. We had a Westfalia that I took out the rear A/C which was a huge mistake! My wife never forgave me on those 2 months of 85-90 degree Farenheit weather. Even with the front A/C in full blast, it was unable to cool the big space inside the van. That is the deciding factor on including the rear A/C on our SMB. Good luck with your decision.
