So the whole thing is basically 3/16" 5052??

And the whole bumper is storage...for the most part.

yes and yes...............

The entire bumper is 3/16" 5052.....the top and back of the storage pocket could have been .125" but the sheets are 4' x 12'...so lots of 3/16" material to burn up.

If anyone is interested in one of these bumpers (as shown, except powdercoated black-including LEDs, with or without backup sensor holes), please PM me.

If we can get a group buy of 5 pieces they'll be $1400/ea. 10 piece price will be a little better......

That's a big turret then. Mine only can do 100" max with a reposition. Might have to look into some bigger dies for 3/16". Save me a whole lot of hand cutting.

Great work.

I'm interested to see what you do for the swingarms on this, anymore info on that? Will it be bolt on or something that has to be welded on later with additional supports?

working on swingarm mounts.....both swingarms are Aluminess....purchased from other members here...thanks C7train and Zuma!

The keen observer will note that the swingarm supports are steel, and that they are completely separate from the bumper.

Also, the rear hatch idea probably won't work with the aluminess latch setup. It's highly likely that the hatch will morph to the top of the bumper...like magic.

In case anyone is wondering, powder coating is the last step........there is still some fabricating and welding to do.
