Accumulated dust & debris on the surface of any plastic can cause scratches of varying severity, it's important to gently remove that before attempting to clean your plastic windows.

Compressed air or if possible a gentle spray of water tends to wash it away---not sure if the Plexus would be compatible if the window was wet.

As most probably already know anything even slightly abrasive affects the surface so keep that in mind when choosing your cleaning products and wipers.

BTW Plexus sounds darn near for this sort of use!

Plexus...works amazingly well.....

I bought the three bottle kit from amazon..

Number 3 is for heavy scratches, #2 for getting the scratches from #3 out and smaller scratches...and #1 is polish.

My windows were quite heavily oxidized and I started with #2 and then #1....they came out great, and went from old and stiff to soft and supple.....totally worth it...I still have to do the rear windows..so I have a great comparison now.

The instructions talk about proper cleaning before applying the compounds.

I'm camping in the van the next few days and the plexus is with me..just need some motivation.
