Repairing small penthouse window holes

Our penthouse windows have a few small holes, maybe 1/16" - 1/8" long and lined up sort of vertically. They are in both rear side windows near the front about half way up. We're pretty sure they are related to repeated stress and maybe some pinching from the crossed struts of the penthouse coming down on them over time (16 years).

Is there a trusted flexible plastic window repair material that I should know about for these kind of holes?

Thanks!
-Scott

From an older post:

If the canvas is torn, you can use the repair kits for convertible car tops. But make sure you get the vinyl impregnated canvas repair kit; if you have a choice.

I had a GIANT hole in one of the penthouse windows (that I found out about *after* I took delivery of my Sportsmobile from its seller, grrrr......) and also a smaller hole elsewhere.

I acquired (and then used) both of these with great success:

1) Look for heavy-duty clear tape that's used to repair sailboat sails.
The stuff is BURLY. (And clear.)

2) There's also heavy-duty clear tape that's meant to repair tears in flexible-clear windows on convertible tops.

Both are pretty darn good.
Carefully cut some equal-sized circles (or squares....or trapezoids.....or whatever your favorite shape is) and go to town.

If you're really careful, you can minimize the visible air-bubbles when you press an overlapping piece against the hole from each side.

Good luck!

Actually the holes are in the clear vinyl (?) plastic window material. But yeah, we do have a small hole or tear or two in the canvas as well, so thanks for that, too.

Hmmmm, good question.......let me check.......wait.......

<< reading the instructions on the roll of tape >>

....and.......I see nothing written in any of the adhesive tape's instructions that warns against cutting out either heptagram or triquetra shapes.....so.....hmmmm.....

YES. ALL GOOD.

*I did, however, find this warning label on the roll of tape....so apparently tridecagons and tridecagrams are OUT.
