Revisiting Car Seats after Car Seats? EB50 bench question.

So my kids have finally graduated from forward facing car seats to high back booster seats, which we are using with the shoulder belts. Problem is, in the SMB "50" we have one shoulder belt and two lap belts. Is there a good solution for having two five year olds in booster level seats back there?


When my niece was 6 I remember I drove across the country and just let her use the middle lap belt. The booster only (no back) seat we had for her seemed pointless and worse even because it put her shoulders above the 50 seat.


In any case I'm wondering what the current solution might be to allow us all to be safe and comfortable. Hmm, anybody in the market for a slightly used SMB?
