I recently installed
265/70R17 tires on my 2012 E350 with 2" lift.
I had temporarily installed a set of 255/75R17 tires after installing the lift. Before I trimmed the plastic on the front bumper, they rubbed a lot. After trimming, they would occasionally rub at the back of the fender opening. Lady Shadetree was not happy with that.
The 265/70 is slightly shorter diameter than the 255/75, 31.6" - 32.1" and slightly wider 10.4" - 10". These 265/70's haven't rubbed at all.
My van has stock 3.73 gearing and we have averaged 14-15 mpg on the highway, loaded for camping.
