Anybody tow a little 4wd behind their SMB?

(Sorry, this post should have gone under "Towing & Toys".)

Does anybody tow a small Toyota sized pickup behind their SMB?

It might solve a lot of problems for me, the kayaks could go on the Toyota shell and be easier to take on and off, the Zodiac and outboard and extra fuel and SCUBA tanks could go inside the shell.

Ive got the big 7.3 liter diesel so that not a problem, when it gets too rough the wife can drive the little Toyota, and when we get where we are going we have a rig to do stuff with.

It also gives us another vehicle if the SMB breaks down someplace weird, we dont really "caravan".

We got the SMB instead of a camper or trailer, and I really dont want to tow anything, BUT as far as Im concerned after actually offroading the SMB it is to get to the campsite, not for "wheeling".
i.e.- Ill take the SMB into Saline Valley via North or South Pass, even take the Cerro Gordo "short-cut" but I dont want to deal with Steel Pass, and Im certainly not taking the SMB down or up the Lippencott Road!

The VW Syncro guys would nod knowingly at this line. Except for the towing part.

Off topic, but hey Saline. What's up with your avatar? All I see instead of your previous picture are the words "User Avatar" Maybe something changed on my computer setup, but I don't have problems with anyone else's pic.
