Thanks! UPZMTN took the garage pics. We went riding while he was in town on his western trip a couple of years ago.

Somewhere around my Sting Ray days my dad bought me a Yamaha Motobike.
Full suspension way back when -'73 ish I estimate.

Bicycle Interests, All Types Welcome!
Wow now I don’t feel so guilty about what’s in the garage. We have almost all our race bikes from over the years and way to many to list. My weekly ride is the Krampus and it makes me ride the bike smooth and that makes me smoother when I get on the Deadwood that is suspended. these are what’s not on the wall and getting dirty. The wall has a Amp, couple cannondales, seven, khs, Chumba, surly, gt and a penny.
By the way will be in the Gooseberry Mesa area Turkey week riding . This one might fun on the Mesa.
I have a few friends that after injuries or just age have picked up a ebike and I’m for it just because it lets them hang with the ride. Now with that said I do not like the guy trying to kill the strava time and is fit enough to not need a ebike.

I claim it to be my mountain bike: Rivendell Clem jr L used to commute to work and as a country bike. I won’t be the fastest on a trail, but this rig will answer and get me where I want to go.
Don’t have any great stories like above, and they’re great alright. Ive always ridden schwinn bikes, owned a stump jumper at one time.
On this rig I dig the steel construction and stylish lugs the company designs that add signature character.

Bikes weren't so stable at high speed back in the day! I remember my mom didn't want to take me to the doctor as she thought I was just being a big baby (broken wrist and collar bone). Helmets weren't a thing back then either (nor stylish haircuts apparently).
Then there is my current ride (Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt BC). Much more stable.

A few pics from my bike stable. 1) Santana Cabrio 700c triplet with S&S couplers 2) Ellsworth Enlightenment 27.5 carbon hardtail 3) Santana Fusion S&S tandem (26") 4) Co-Motion Pangea S&S touring/gravel bike (red) and my wife's Co-Motion 26" S&S bike 5) Co-Motion Nor'wester S&S road/touring bike 700c
Not shown are my newish Santa Cruz Tallboy FS and my old Co-Motion OR that I built up as a 26" gravel touring bike/knock-around bike. Oh, and my son's Niner EMD. Sigh. I need a bigger garage!
I usually grab the Ellsworth for most riding, or the Co-Motion Nor'wester for road or gravel riding.

Amazing how many bikes some of us accumulate.
Here is my first full suspension bike, a Mongoose Amplifier.
I think its the bike that started it all, successfully at least. 24 lbs. Well ridden & well maintained.
Designed by Horst Leitner and which Specialized has had the rights to it in modern years. Pivot locations are what make it better than many.
Maybe someone can flip this pic?? This is where my vast phone photo selection will be mostly upside down and my pics worthless.

Lifelong cyclist here......and bike industry lifer. As an adult I've mostly been into endurance oriented riding/touring. Long days or multi day affairs are what interests me the most.
The past few years I've been really into winter endurance races. There's a few good ones in the lower 48 but the really good, really out there stuff is in Alaska. The pics below are from the Iditarod Trail a few years back.......we did the first 350 miles from Knik to McGrath.
