Last weekend's trip to Big Bear

The only real exercise that the SMB got was hauling my '69 Bronco and car hauler from sea level to 8000', but it was a great time in my somewhat smaller 4x4.

Was this for ForestFest or was it the weekend before? I was up for ForestFest but only to ride along since my Heep is getting some new bells and whistles. Where do you like to wheel in so cal? I go to Johnson Valley and Truckhaven are my favorite places. Big Bear is always nice too...we did John Bull in the dark a few months back...fun!

I was there for Big Bear Bronco Bash, our big annual get-together for SoCal Broncos. Didn't do John Bull this year, but I've done it a couple of times, but never at night (at least not yet).

With a 16 month old son at home, I don't get 4 wheeling time these days, but I make it up to a couple trails off near Lockwood Valley (near Gorman) once in a while, and I haven't been in a while, but I've hit Anza Borrego a few times.

I imagine you are in a few Bronco forums too. If you know anyone that is interest in a stock hardtop from a 69 bronco, bench seat and a rear body mount tire rack. I have a buddy that will get rid of all 3 for 300 obo. Just need to pick them up in Duarte area.

If you get me the specifics (condition of glass, seals, struts, and a rust assessment), and the contact info, I'll post it on a couple Early Bronco sites.
