Daveb, I made it. Built 2x3 frame to match the body. It goes anywhere the Q-van can. It's pretty elaborate but for sure you could get started with a frame and body.

I found the body on Craigslist for $350..

I don't know why you can't get a truck body shop to build what you want unless you want something for dirt cheap. In my area we have shops that put utility truck bodies on single axle trailers.

No still looking. I'm in Australia this week and have seen some amazing off road trailers!

That Koening trailer looks great, would be perfect for what I need. Amarillo though, need to think about that.
