Re: New Toy

A steering wheel, a helmet and a roll bar on a trike. Weird to say the least.

Nope. They took me out of the book when I let my membership expire. I'll probably be in the next edition.

I just saw it for a moment,
but it appeared to have BMW 3 series body panels that were made to fit around a trike. Craftsmanship looked amazing tho... I'm stumped

Re: New Toy

Great choice. I have the BMW f800GS and I love it. I have taken it on so many backcountry long trips now it has proven itself to me. My next trip I am planning on taking it from Seattle to Prudhoe Bay Alaska and back.

Re: New Toy

I had a R80 GS that I loved. I'm riding a R65 now.

I could be wrong but I don't think that thing is a BMW. I saw one in a parking lot once (or at least some creation like it) and it was some custom make. I do agree that the rear lights look 3-series-ish.

Anyway, I'll add my worthless opinion. It's hideous. And besides, what's the point? With all that crap why not just take the car? I question trike culture.

I grew up on the back of a 69' r65! Went all over with my Dad. He's done Alaska 2-3 times on one, and all of the lower 48 a few times. Wish it was still around. He sold out and bought a Gold Wing.
