Thanks.

I'm sure that weight impacts as do air flow, headwinds, and aerodynamics as well.

So my GMC Savana, 6 liter with 4.10 gearing, also a brick, towing my Kendon with my HP2E, less than 1000 pounds, does not seem to be enough to change the mpg. When I towed my 6x12 enclosed trailer at about 3500 pounds, I lost 1 to 1.5 mpg.

Of course there a number of factors involved...

I enjoy your choice of m/c's marret! Cool bike.
I am currently riding a '06 KTM 950 Adv, a ripper also. I bring a bicycle or two along also (rd & mtn).
Cheers

Back at ya

Great bike. Liked the 9xx ADV bikes all along. Came close to buying a 950. Had a Multistrada 1200 until it was totaled. Bought the HP2 after the Multi but before the accident.

I was also thinking about a 950 Super Enduro.

Anyway, I often take a bicycle as well. Last long trip was just a bicycle.

I am going to get an e-bike in the not too distant future.

Store Front – GreenBikeUSA.com
One of the best warranties, and has 9 level's of assist, not the traditional 5 - they also have several other features others dont offer.

Thanks Twoxentrix.

I have a multitude of bicycles, including two pedal assist bikes.
My ebikes resemble normal bikes and ride as such. The electric assist is seamless. Go with Bosch or Yamaha powered pedal assist. I use Yamaha.

Oh yes, I tow these with my van. ;-)

Read good things about Haibikes. Was considering a Giant as well in part because there is a dealer near here. We are currently in the middle of nowhere MO and the nearest dealer with e-bikes is 90 plus miles.

I installed a through axle quick release mount on my Kendon so I could carry a bicycle with the motorcycle. When we moved here I still had the enclosed trailer I mentioned before, sold it now, but during the move the motorcycle was in the enclosed trailer and I had three bicycles on the Kendon that we towed with my wife's crossover.

Last August, headed home from Prescott. Did some backup practicing then had to park it for the winter to use the SMB as the city vehicle while I'm driving the 4Runner to the ski area.

Pretty much the only thing I tow with my van at present. My Maravia 16' Williwa 2.
This was on our way to Desolation Canyon last year.
