Or a custom CCV top. That would be cool!

Re: Trailer Project
I am not an engineer, but the limit straps seem undersized and improperly placed. Personally, I would have put them right behind or in front of the coil.

I am also not an engineer, but not super concerned.. It would have to travel pretty far before the limiting strap even comes into play..

Re: Trailer Project
I'm just curious, but what will be the purpose of this trailer? More storage for extended trips? Toy hauler? Extra beds for friends?

Oh yeah. It's not going to be a teardrop, but don't tell the PO.
Toy hauler. I need a way to haul motorcycles.. I used to use a hitch hauler on my RB, but with an EB the overhang is too great unless on smooth pavement.. and it's impossible to carry two.
So after years of saying I would never own a trailer, here we are. Maybe I will hate it. We'll see.

Well, just a suggestion, make sure that the shocks are not the effective travel limit straps. The last shop which installed shocks on my wife's Dakota put on too short a shock. After the second shock bolt replacement, I decided to remove the shocks and compare them with the recommended Bilstein replacement. The Bilsteins were an inch and a half longer. Installed the Bilsteins and no more broken shock bolts...
