Gents

Newby here

What are the general pros and cons on this?

(i am not interested in a 4wd)

My concerns:
Pop top vs. hard top
RB vs. EB
Bench seat like a Westy vs. a walk thru style ( dont know the smb names)
Gas engin with high milelage

your comments / input is appreciated

upgrading from my beloved Westy.....

I have seen this unit & I can say that it is a extreemly clean. If I'm not mistaken Bill said they have only camped in it 3 times. If someone is looking for a reasonable priced Sportsmobile this may be the one. 2002 with the 7.3L
Woot.....................

You can probably find other discussions on some of these in different parts of the forum...

If you are not concerned about 4WD, then that we assume you are not going to have to worry about a lot os steep departure angles, so EB or RB should be of little concern in a used SMB. Go for one that has what you feel you want or need.

Gas Engine with high miles is not a problem if it has been well maintained.... so maintenance is the real question, and whether you can confirm the maintenance.

Bench (50) vs walk-thru (aisle) is really a hard one and there are proponents of both. You need to make that call.

Don't know the van, but I know the owner (how lame is THAT), and he is a straight shooter and non-embellisher. Good luck with the sale.
