1989 Ford E150 Sportsmobile

This is my van.

1989 Ford E150 RB Sportsmobile For Sale $7,500 OBO

Chassis/Mechanical
Engine is the 351CID matched to a three speed automatic transmission
86xxx original miles
Good breaks
Tires are LT 235/75R15 with about 50% tread left
Spare has about 30% tread left
Two wheel drive regular body E150
Dual fuel tanks with about 33 gallon total capacity
Van body is in good shape although the paint is faded and thin in spots
Comes with electronic copy of the 1989 Ford factory service manual.

Camper
Manual penthouse top with good canvas, screens and windows
Walk through layout with lots of storage space similar to a Sportsmobile RB10 layout.
Dinette folds into a bed
Propane heat and stove
Swivel passenger and drivers seat
Power cord and entrance for hooking up to shore power
Does not have a penthouse bed so it seats six but sleeps two
Windows have curtains
Storage pockets in one rear door, both side doors, and both front doors

Upgrades
Two 135 watt solar panels paired with a Blue Sky 2000E solar controller
Victron Energy battery usage gauge
Bed foam was replaced in 2014
Ten gallon fresh water tank with 12 volt electric water pump and stainless steel sink installed in 2014
House and starting batteries replaced in 2015
White city water hose for filling water tank
City water connection to fill water tank was replaced in 2014
Newer Kenwood radio with USB and AUX ports and remote control
Updated house battery charger with 120v and 12v fuses plus Blue Sea six circuit fuse box in 2013
Model TF-49, 1.73 cubic foot, 12 volt TruckFridge
LED interior lighting


The good
Runs good and does not use any oil
Have taken on many long trips with no issues
Interior is in good shape

The not so good
The paint is faded and thin in spots.
Gas gauge for the rear fuel tank does not always show the fuel level
Rear speakers are disconnected
