1989 Sportsmobile for Sale
Reluctantly selling our prized Sportsmobile! $6500 located in Reno, NV
This van has been an awesome camping rig for us the last 7 years but due to changes we are having to sell. Any SMB enthusiast will love this rig!
The Good:
Its an SMB!
The van is in very good condition. The 302 EFI engine runs strong and shifts are very snappy out of the C6 - she runs strong but don't plan on going up hill too fast. There is currently 132,000 miles on the odometer and she still has a lot of life left in it. Plugs and wires were done around 110,000 miles and all oil changes etc have been kept up on.
The entire top was sprayed with line-x in 2008. It looks nice and is super durable.
Power windows work.
Water Pump and sink work
Newer converter.
Fridge works - it is a 2 way fridge so it does work off the RV battery - however be aware that refrigerators do not run for more than 2 days efficiently on battery alone.
Tires are in great shape
The Bad:
Cab A/C does not work and needs to be converted to r134a.
Fuel gauge sending unit is not working on second tank.
It is equipped with star cool option but it is not working.
Cruise control does not work.
The screens in the pop top are gone due to deterioration.
The paint is showing its age
The Fabrics are faded
I really want it to go to a SMB enthusiasts home! She has a lot trips left in her!
