We purchased this van almost 4 years ago for family camping trips. It has been a great vehicle and has never let us down. We have traveled all over Montana and a few trips to the coast. The appearance is a little rough around the edges but it is a solid functional camper that has many trips left. The engine always starts and runs great down the road. Last year we had all the fluids replaced, new plugs, cap, rotor and filter. I just replaced the galley and starting batteries. I have all of the manuals and original documents from Sportsmobile as well as the dodge window sticker. We are selling because we are purchasing a Sprinter-based Sportsmobile. Looks very intriguing! I've been on the lookout for a couple of months now and here it is! What mileage have you been averaging? Also, what kind of weight could be carried on the Yakima rooftop rack, guesstimate? Thanks!

To be honest I have never calculated the mileage. It has a 35 gallon fuel tank and we just fill it up and go. I used the rack to haul a Thule storage box which contained mostly soft goods such as sleeping bags etc.. I would guess the weight including the box to be under 100 lbs. Thanks

Yes, I think that would be a reasonable estimate. It has overdrive so on the highway the RPM's are very low. I did add some photos to my gallery. Thanks
