selling SMB

Lowered the price to $18,000.

Friends say I should not lower the price but my spouse wants me to actually part with it NOW.

I have been away tending to aging Mom and moving her closer to us.

I do have all the receipts since purchased new. I am the second owner and have enjoyed it beyond words.

I am getting pressure from my spouse to let it go, as I had hoped that time would cause her to forget about her wanting to free up the space at our place.
NO LUCK.

It is a great vehicle, especially since Ramsey at Agile did his special stuff a few years ago. It is located in N Cal and been a CA vehicle for it's whole life.
Not a spec of rust anywhere.

thanks

Yup, this seems like a great buy. I'm amazed it hasn't sold yet.

I had to rescue my mom in NYC and move her closer to us here in N. Cal.
Had to wait until now to be available to actually show and sell it.

It has 175,000 miles on it with all receipts for any and all work done over the years.

Zach- I sent you PM with my cell phone to call me as your voicemail is not yet set up for me to leave message.

to any would-be buyers out there, I can personally vouch for Jeff's "good dude" quotient... he's helpful, and, speaks the real

Good Luck with the sale, Jeff, hope you don't stray from the forum

interested party

Thanks everyone for the responses.

I believe this SMB is spoken for. I am not accepting their money until they try the SMB out, as my concern is that the penthouse top be easy for them to open and close. It is a woman and young child so I want to be sure they can open and close without needing help. This is their 1st SMB so just want to be sure it all is good for them.

I have had a few SMB's and noticed that this one has the easiest top to open and close with the springs. Maybe the PO did an adjustment or not.

Maybe I am experiencing separation anxiety in advance with the thought that I will be without a SMB. I have loved being in it as well as just looking at it all these years.

Will change to sold once they drive it and feel comfortable. Should know more around June 11th.

I am getting back to all that are interested and PM'd me to put them on a waiting list.

Jeff

Lifting the Top

A suggestion for lifting the penthouse top easily is the Air Jack from Alluminess. I have a back injury and use to lift mine. All you need is a 12V tire pump or a bicycle pump which works just fine with much less noise. I have used it to lift my top with the roof box fully loaded with no issues. It was around $400 when I purchased it. Your Sportsmobile is very nice for a 94 and a great deal I think. If I did not already have one I would be seriously looking at this one.

Sold 1994 smb 4x4

Sad to see my SMB leave the house after having so many good times in it.

It is off to a great new family for what will hopefully be years of enjoyment.

Thank you to all that chimed in and spoke well of it....

Hopefully once settled and find more space to park some toys, I will
find another gem out there.....
