@Phish While I’m not an admin or the forum police, generally if a member (even one with just a few posts) lists a personal van for sale here it’s not really good form to comment negatively on the price unless they ask for input (as some do). The only way to know what the market will bear is to ask for a price and see what someone will counter-offer. If someone posts a CL or EBay or whatever in the “found vans” area then price comments are usually ok in a caveat emptor spirit.
Sorry wild hair wasn’t trying to degrade your van or deflect anyone from buying it. It”s a very nice rig was just trying to help out, seen some up here in the PMW for sale for a few months at the same price.
CTB - have a van and not looking for another. Rebuilding one is quite time consuming.

Hey, I just put a deposit on this beautiful van. I'm scheduled to inspect and put the cash down in a couple weeks. Ctb, I agree, Wildhair is a "nice gal" and has been a delight to work with. I'm also encouraged by your comments regarding the van. I'm not sure about 4x4 conversion, but you got me thinking. I've already posted about it in the Welcome Mat (New SMB'er) and will post more pictures after I pick it up.

I live in Iowa too and is where I met Wildhair first time (local reservoir/camp spot)...I am sure I am not too far (is is Iowa lol) if you need somebody to go 'look' before you come down let me know...I can take pics etc...I should IM her and offer her that too...one of the greatest parts of the Forum, other members willing to help whenever they can...good luck!
