SOLD: 1999 eb 350, 7.3 powerstroke, u-joint conversion, very low original miles
I started this build last March, 100's of hours and thousands of dollars later, Now, the wifey wants a sprinter with a full bathroom.. This was my dream rig for years and it finally came to when I found an eb 350 with a 7.3 and only 50k miles.. So it all began.. now cosmeticly and mechanicaly completed and just needing an interior build if you so choose, it's for sale. Here is the what I am selling.
1999 Ford E350 Eb with the coveted 7.3 liter engine. Originally a 14 Passenger van with all the bells and whistles. Over the last year I have transformed it into an off-road adventure waggon. I have spared no expense with the build and put my 30 years of mechanical and fabrication experience into the build. Started with a full u-joint coil type 4x4 conversion, changed both axels, both out of very low mileage vehicles. Front off a 2015 and rear is Sterling limited slip set up out of a 05, both axels were like new and was told by the dismantler, 25k on the front and 40k on the rear. Once delivered covers pulled inspected the fluid was completely clean so I trust the mileage. Suspension was completely replaced with new parts, fox shocks, atlas springs, every bushing, all new steering components, new warn manual hubs, new Moog ball joints, all new custom drive shafts and u-joints. All new Brake lines, brake pads, you name it, everything and using quality parts. I have every receipt, absolutely nothing overlooked in the drivetrain. Transfercase is a 271 that was disassembled inpected and free from any wear but the mileage was unknown. I sent the original 50k mile transmission R100 to be converted to a 4wd by a local expert and had it totally gone through upgraded with the best billet and internal parts available at a cost of over $5k. Including new planetary's, input & output shafts, valve body, the best steels and clutches available, billit touqe converter, shift correction kit and a large capacity oil pan with a cooler. Refilled boxes with all synthetic fluids. As far as the other things I have done to the van, new interstate batteries, new windshield, new wheels and tires, engine serviced, new filters, belts, idler pulleys replaced both alternators, all fluids changed to ready the van for a 3000 mile trip in July. It ran flawlessly, steering is great, braking is better than the 2wd ever was. Since build I have put 8000 trouble free miles on the van. More bolt on parts include a front aluminess bumper with a warn 9000i winch installed, bushwacker fender flares, 55w halogen driving/fog lights, upgraded sound system to high enough pioneer with integrated phone and Bluetooth, back up camera ready DVD and CD player. All six factory speakers replaced with high end. Swivel seat on passenger side.. Have a matching spare tire and wheel with a custom carrier that goes in hitch receiver. I built a redwood platform bed that easily comes in and out. Saved one row of rear seats to go in and out depending on the intended trip and passenger load. All camping gear stores nicely under bed and I saw no need to go to the Ritz with the build out for dry camping.. but you can do whatever suits you and your wallet. I am sure I am forgetting alot of details, it's been a long passionate journey getting it to this point and it's a real nice rig.. just ask any questions you may have and I will follw up. Oh and yes it's a new base clear paint job and all minor cosmetics we're addressed. No, dents or rust at all on this van underneath is a California native.
As for my price I'm starting at $45k, leave a pm with your number if you're interested in my van thanks.
