1999 Ford E250 (RB40) in ATL - $10k OBO -- SOLD --

Price Reduction! $10,000 OBO

I am the second owner of this 1999 Ford E250 (Regular Bed) Sportsmobile.
The interior is a slightly customized RB40 plan.

When I began looking at a van to take us around the southeast for junior
golf tournaments I had 2 requirements: 1) That it sleep 2 adults in separate
beds and 2) that it fit in my garage.

The SMB with a Penthouse top was the perfect choice. In fact, I dare you to
find another RV that will fit in a standard garage. I don't think they're
available.

So I bought this van at 63K miles from the original owner in April '09 and
have loved it. It has been garaged every day since I bought it.

What I didn't take into consideration was that we are city-slickers. In fact,
if you look up city-slickers in the dictionary I'm pretty sure you'll see
our family portrait. And I'm 6'4" and my 2 sons are closing in fast. So we
just couldn't work out the camping part.

But it was perfect for getting us there and back. No complaints whatsoever.

I have all the original paperwork from the original owner. This van is in
excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. I drive it every week.

It has been pre-wired for CATV and I'll throw in a new 16" 720p TV I bought
for it just this past month.

Here's the Highlights:
1999 Ford E250 Regular Bed
75K miles
5.4 L EFI V8
Penthouse Top

More Details:
VIN: 1FDNE24L4XHA18306
Electronic Auto Overdrive Transmission
Power Steering/Brakes
35-Gallon Fuel Tank
Driver Side Air Bag
Dual Bucket Seats
New Van and House Batteries
Microwave
Refrigerator
Extra Storage!
Electric Porta Potti
Starcool House AC

Brand new the van alone (without the conversion) was $26,805.
I have the original window sticker to prove it. If you were to outfit
a van today with the options on this SMB you'd expect to pay
approx $25k for the standard RB40 plan and the Penthouse Top.

Re: 1999 Ford E250 (RB40) in ATL - $10k OBO

I am 6'5" and have had some issues with being comfortable in the driver's seat on some of the SMB's that I have tried out since it will not go back far enough due to obstructions with the bed and/or cabinates. Any comments on your SMB as far as driver comfort is concerned. Thanks George
