Re: Value of 2000 7.3L Ford Quigly 4x4?

Condition, floorplan, etc. greatly affect value.

So, I'd guess somewhere between $20K and $40K. Maybe.

I apologize for not including pictures "worth a thousand words". Will take some current ones and get them included in the next few days.

Other factors that might affect value...

How long you've owned it?
Maintenance records?
When was the tranny rebuilt?
Rust?

But as others mentioned... Pics.
If you can't post pics, send me an email and I'll post them for you...

Here is the next installment of pictures. Probably enough for determining a ballpark value? I'll attach a list of the inclusions in the next post.

This is a list of what is included. The van has no rust other than cosmetic from minor rock chips. Pricing opinions and advice are welcomed!
Thanks in advance for your input.
DaveY
In checking my post, I've deleted the inclusions because it didn't upload into the post as a PDF item.
Guess I need to get out the "posting for dummies" manual!

Re: Value of 2000 7.3L Ford Quigly 4x4?

First place to start might be:

How much would you be happy with?

Post it here for that price. Maybe it will be perfect for someone and it will sell quickly and everyone is happy.

Maybe it won't sell. Maybe you want more than the market will pay.

Maybe someone will make you an offer and negotiations will decide the price.

It is always difficult with used vehicles, but you need to start somewhere and what you would be happy with is a good place to start.

Sooner or later, most of us are faced with similar issues. Is it worth putting more money into this vehicle or buying a new(er) one? Everyone selling wants top dollar. Everyone buying wants to pay the minumum they can. Finding the middle ground is sometime difficult.

Good luck,

Mike

Re: Value of 2000 7.3L Ford Quigly 4x4?

What I have found, the value on 4wd van depends on what the buyer is willing to pay not so much what we think its worth. 7.3 with all the goodies already done and what seems to have been well cared for and maintained I would think it would be listed for 40-45k, one can always come down in price but never go up....if you don't ask you won't get! Tell ya what pay me 10% and I'll get ya the moon..

On the other hand I think its only worth 20k! Can I wire you funds and pick it up?;-)
