Curious about those "collapsible rain shields" for the side windows. Any details or a link for them?

Re: 2000 SMB 7.3 Quigley For Sale

These "Rain Shields" were custom made of aluminum. They hook over the rain gutter. The arms that support the "awning" off the van side or glass are padded. There are 2 (28" and 22" wide) and come in a HD gray vinyl storage bag with velcro closure.
Our van did not have a window opening that was screened AND protected from rainfall. The rear side windows have insect screens thus the need for the awnings. We also have an insect screen we made that snaps over the inside of the side door top hinged window which additionally solves the insect issue when desiring natural or roof fan induced ventilation.

Re: 2000 SMB 7.3 Quigley For Sale

Thanks for the rain shield pics, Dave. They are really cool! I've never seen something like that. Like you, I have the slider side windows. I like them, except that they have to be closed when it rains and it can make things hot inside. Do you have contact info for the person that made them for you?
