Thanks guys. How much power increase did the 5star tune give you 86Scotty?

I can't remember the numbers, it's been a good while, but they used to have dyno graphs/charts on their site. All I can say is that the difference was pretty amazing. It woke it right up. That van was VERY heavy though, probably 10k with the heavy amateur buildout I did and the CCV top so I wasn't exactly flying up big mountains. Off the line was a huge difference though. It made it a lot more pleasant to drive.

Thx much for the info. Hopefully it didn't lean out the AFR a ton = more power, but hot!

@mk216v - apologies for the late reply as I've been battling a kidney stone for the last few days.
My rig has 4.88 gearing front & rear (5.4l, 6", 35's) and when I road tested in Wyoming I found some "hilly" terrain, driving into a significant headwind and was happy with the power up and around 70-75mph.
Truth be told I haven't tested it on the Colorado Mountain Passes where I'll be doing most of my adventures but will provide feedback when I do.
I was initially sold on the idea of diesel but eventually went with a gasser because I won't be towing anything and quite frankly this one "spoke" to me.
If I intended to tow anything short of my fly fishing raft I'd probably go v10 or diesel…

No worries, I hope you're better.
Thx for the feedback.

We had another kidney stone discussion here last year I think.... hope that thing passes! There is always lithotripsy......
The 4.88 gears have to help tremendously with 35's. Speaking of 35's, do you get any rubbing?

I have the same setup as peakbone with no rubbing at all.
