Re: 2005 Sportsmobile, EB, 6.0 L

Everyone, thanks for the looks and comments. To clear up the EGR delete all you have to do is take it to a shop that can clear it with a gauge. I use a scanguage to clear it. I then take it to a local SLC based IM shop and they hook into the same port that the scanguage uses. It just worked. No issues.

Also, this vehicle has a new FULL FLOAT rear axle (Dana 60 4:10, LS). All seals, bearings, yada, yada have been re-done by Advanced 4x4 in SLC. They not only know 4x4, but VANS. They do a ton of work for vans utilized for ski resort transport to/from ski resorts and the SLC International Airport. They also have a pretty nice stock of Aluminess boxes/racks, bumpers in SLC.

Make me an offer, it won't be less when the spring time rolls around.

Thanks,
Brian

You are referring to the check engine light that comes on as a result of deleting the EGR system? What kind of oil cooler did you put in it when you did the delete?

Re: 2005 Sportsmobile, EB, 6.0 L

It was an aftermarket, recommended by Gillette Diesel. I don't remember the exact name.

FYI, for anyone interested. The rear axle was switched out to a newly rebuilt FULL FLOAT axe w/ 4;10, LS. HAUL all the weight you want to now.
