Vandiesel, you should at least drive it if possible. The only value of a 7.3 over a 6.0 is the reliability in my opinion and that’s of course a huge one. I’ve owned a 6.0 and driven a number of 7.3s and the 6.0 is more quiet and more responsive, when it’s running....

My 6.0 has been as reliable as the 7.3 and both have had the same maintenance costs... the 6.0 got a bad rap with all the bro trucks, tuning and pull head studs. Vans have been de-tuned and if it's been bullet proofed it's as solid as any 7.3 van.

I sold my 7.3 RB to get a 6.0 EB, I could have easily put the money into my 7.3 with converting to 4x4 and what not but wanted the extra room and found my current van which I'm happy with... everyone knows to expect the extra maintenance with a Diesel.

I think you should consider the 6.0 but if you do go with putting a CCV pop top on and keeping your current rig I promise I'll do a good job with your pop top .

Thanks for the feedback! After discussing this with scummy and reading what was done it was pretty easy. Then he said transfer flow! I'm flying the 27th to get it. So stoked.
Now I'll need to post up my 7.3 and see if there is any interest here before it goes to world of craigslist etc. My 7.3 is really dialed as well just not as camperized as others but it matches my use well.

With you on that one! Thought for sure it wouldn't last more than a week or two. Glad to see it has another enthusiastic owner.

I only posted the for sale ad here. I didn't want to deal with tire kickers and people who didn't know what they were looking at. Also figure I wouldn't have to deal with scammers
