2006 E350 RB w/elec PH -- Sold !
After several years of lying to myself that I will make more time and find more time to go camping and explore CA and states beyond it wasn’t going to happen and I’ve decided to sell my 2006 E350 van. My work continues to be intense and stressful and I don’t see any relief until I retire.
I purchased the van in 2010 as a Ford certified vehicle with 39K miles. *It has never been in an accident, currently has 60K miles and I've always brought it to my local Ford dealer for servicing. (Just normal servicing, nothing out of the ordinary. I did ask the dealer to replace the serpentine belt at 55K miles for good measure.) *SMB West installed the electic PH top, 2 piece PH bed with Thule tracks and 5 Thule cross bars. *(3 are 66in, 2 are 78in). *Its an RB, 5.4 V8, 3.73 open, PW, PDL with remotes, rear AC, privacy glass, factory AM/FM/CD unit with 6 speakers. *I replaced the original contour bumper with an OEM step bumper. *I installed a class III (not IV) 2in receiver hitch to carry my bikes. *And I installed a cheapie Surco rear ladder on the passenger side rear door. *The van was never used for towing because of the lack of receiver (until I installed one) and lack of wiring harness (either 4pin flat and 7pin round). *All 5 tires (~75% tread remaining) are OEM Hankook 245/75-16 E-rated mounted on plain steel wheels.
The 3 bench seats (3+3+4) are no longer with the van as I have given them away to members on the forum. *In their place is a single, much better 3 person folding bench seat with headrests from a Dodge Ram MegaCab. *There are LATCH connectors in all 3 seating positions in the bench. *The outboard shoulder belts are OEM with Ford receptacles while the center builtin shoulder belt is Dodge. *My goal when camping was to not pitch a tent so the current configuration works for me. *It can sleep 4 (2 up top, 1 across the back, 1 across the folded bench seat). *Behind the bench is a homemade shelf to house my 4 Rubbermaid Roughneck containers, 2 underbed low profile tubs and to provide a sleeping platform for the youngin.
I am asking $15,000.00. *As you all know, valuation is sometimes difficult to determine but since mine is very lightly modified it was pretty straightforward. *I split the difference between trade-in and private party price plus I added about half the cost of an electric PH top. The top has been raised and lowered fewer than 15 times.
I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. *If you're interested please PM me. *The van is located in 95014.
Thank you,
Ray

Someone needs to jump on this before I do... I don't need another project, but what a great starting point.

Right? Trying to get a friend of mine to get this.. He's been sitting on a full UJOR kit with axle and spares that I found for him for $2500 a few years ago. This is where it needs to go.

Re: 2006 E350 RB w/elec PH
Just an FYI, to get an electric penthouse top with the AC vents and roof top tracks installed, it will cost about $9,500 from SMB West. Whoever buys this van is getting a tremendous deal considering the KBB private party value for the van is already at $13,500 since it has such low miles.
I've already crunched some numbers and thought about selling my V10 Chateau to buy this since it has such low miles and already has the electric top, but I think I love my green van too much.
