Wow, highest gallery photo to post ratio ever! And to think I was going to ask to see more pictures.

I like the 3 ports on the side instead of the propane door- what are they? Electrical, city water, and ??

I notice that you have the rear shower but there is no mention of a hot water heater. Is there a hot water tank and heater or does the shower just flow cold?

Thanks,

Gus

Re: 2006 E350 SMB RB-50 Diesel

Gus,
Originally the van had a flat plate heat exchanger when new, but a cold -16 degree day in Bryce Utah split the exchanger. I had the exchanger removed and returned to original factory Ford condition. We actually never used the hot water and wish I had saved the money at purchase. When the van is warm inside so is the water, so I didn't mind taking 75+ degree showers. Anything hotter in small quantities we would use our Jetboil.

Thanks,

Brad

Re: 2006 E350 SMB RB-50 Diesel

Thanks for the information on the hot water. I noticed a bit of rust on the drivetrain. The rest of the truck looks immaculate. Is this just from normal wear and tear and actually keeping the drivetrain clear of grease and grime? Do you spend time where they salt the roads? Again, thanks for the information. This is one super SMB.

Re: 2006 E350 SMB RB-50 Diesel

We visit the coast for sure but don't spend enough time there for problem rust. What you see is just what happens under every vehicle I ever owned out here in California. Certainly not a problem, just what happen to a factory paint job(drivetrain only).

Thanks,
Brad
