Re: 2006 SMB 4x4 RB50 V-10 For Sale

I'd drop Jim an email or a PM as I don't think he checks this site regularly...that's the best way I got a hold of him a few months back.

Also, to answer the earlier question, it's a SMB 4x4 system, but no furnace. When I did some research about installing one, a local rv conversion place in Denver quoted me just under $2K to have a propane system and furnace installed. Hope this helps.
Jeff

Espar makes a gasoline unit that you can add / have added. There has been much discussion on the safety.

Re: 2006 SMB 4x4 RB50 V-10 For Sale

Hey everyone. For some reason, I wasn't getting any email notifications when people replied to the thread. Weird, because I had always gotten them in the past. Anyways, I still have the rig for sale. I am dropping the asking price to $60,000.00 o.b.o.

Zeta, the van is SMB 4x4, not a Quigley.
Mileage is what everyone seems to get with V-10. 11-13 give or take.

Also, as Jeff pointed out, emailing me directly is the best way to get in touch with me. I always reply promptly, as I work in front of my computer most of the day.

How many batteries, what size? Is it pre-wired for solar? I'm unable to read all of the build sheet. Thanks

Re: 2006 SMB 4x4 RB50 V-10 For Sale

I am the proud new owner of this rig. Can't wait to pick it up. I was debating between a local diesel 06 which needed some interior work done or this rig. After reading ad nauseum the gas vs diesel threads I decided to go with gas obviously. We are a young family with two kids (ages 7 and 5) so can't wait to get out in it and explore. Jim has been a pleasure to deal with so far and thanks to this board I found my rig.

I am looking forward to it. The diesel noise was a big hurdle for us as well as other factors.

Zach, you're going to love the rig! I'm stoked to send it to a good home with someone who will get out and use it the way it should be used!!
