Nah, that's how he bought it. It was just for commuting (doesn't appear it was ever used off-road at all). He had it for over a month before he spilled the beans and he was immediately advised to get rid of the bike or get rid of the Viagra ('cause you ain't gonna need it). My wife is flipping out over me bringing it home as it will make four bikes in my stable and I don't really need a KLR as I have....
If not familiar with a KLR, they aren't sexy, but they get the job done for a long long time. Extremely reliable and long-legged. Tons of aftermarket support as they are so common in the dual sport world.
