Re: 2007 V10 E350 Quigley 86k miles

So think about swapping me for my Chevy B+ (floor plan like the Chinook but mine is much, much cheaper), plus some cash from me. My 21 foot rig would go for about $19,000. UJOR is dying to convert one of these to 4x4.

Please, please do this for all the reasons!

Really? UJOR is planning to develop a 4x4 system for the Chevy/GMC van platform. I never heard about that.

Yeah, thx for that Skubadu, ....will have to look into this again. I thought at one point I'd gotten a post from UJOR saying this was ripe for a 4x4 convo, but maybe they did not mean by them??

I met a gal in Anza Borrego this past winter. She had the 7.3 2x4 Chinook. She claimed 12.5 mpg no mater how she drove.

Re: 2007 V10 E350 Quigley 86k miles

That seems to be the trend is around 12 or so MPG. After some acquisition of materials, I think I'm going to keep this rig and build out the interior to an RB50 style layout. Thanks for all the info encouragement and trade options that popped up! I'll certainly keep them in mind. This forum is truly a great resource. If any of you are ever in central Wyoming and want to do some of the best camping and fishing/climbing around, just holler.
Best,
C.

Hey, thx for Wyo invite....you live in God's country for sure.

Good to hear you got it figured out, and that you plan to make do and fix up your rig to make it what you need it to be.

It is so much nicer to be able to know the history of your own rig, and so then be able to decide to put the money in to it to customize it.

Share the convo pics with us if possible.
