This 2016 Mercedes Benz 4×4 Sprinter Van was customized by SYNC Vans in Sun Valley to be the best overland camping machine. The customization was done about a year ago to SYNC’s ‘Atlas’ specification with lots of extras. The interior setup includes a memory foam mattress, 2-panel removable sleeping platform to comfortably sleep two, sound deadening foam, denim insulation, LED dimmable lighting throughout, great sound system, Webasto Dual-Top diesel heater (plumbed to diesel tank on the Van) Cabin Air and Water Heater Distribution to shower and sink. Fifteen-gallon freshwater tank for cooking and Marine Style Shower off rear corner of Van. 9 Gallon gray water tank as well. Dometic portable toilet. Van is wired with extra battery, shore power connection if available, and interior wired for USB charging for phones, iPads, computers. Both driver’s and passenger’s seats swivel to the interior for extra comfort and flexibility.
The exterior is equipped with an Aluminess roof rack/platform for storage and upper deck seating, with integrated ladder, Fiamma 45 awning, wheels and all-terrain tires, along with a backup camera. This Sprinter is finished in a dark metallic grey which has a full front end clear bra, and the interior is grey and black to match the exterior with orange accents. Powered by a 3.0L Turbocharged diesel there is plenty of power at 325 lb-ft of torque. This one-owner adventure rig with only approximately 29,000 miles.
