I had a 2016 Sprinter 4x4 before this. I got stranded in Moab because the van went into limp mode at 3,000 miles. It had to be towed to Denver because that was the closest M.B dealership. I also didn't like the fact I couldn't do my own oil change because it may void the factory warranty. The diesel fuel sludged up the first week I owned it because I bought it in Denver and the dealer didn't put the cold weather 911 additive in the gas tank. There is something to be said for a gas engine. After all this the Sprinter put a bad taste in my mouth! So I went back to the true American Chevy express 4x4. You can have any mechanic work on it and the parts are readily accessible! Before the Sprinter I had a 2008 Ford e350 Sportsmobile 4x4 and the market tanked and that toy had to go. The ford econoline and Chevy express 4x4 vans are the true 4x4 capable vans!

Kunz - if might be helpful if you posted pics of both the interior, and also the 4x4 system.

Advanced does not have a good reputation with their leaf-sprung conversions, but it appears you have the IFS system? This will surely ride and drive better. Any idea how much front suspension travel you have? What transfer case system does it use? Any idea how the turning radius compares to 2WD? Their website has so little info!

While SMB conversion seem to carry the best resale, there's no doubt that small shops can do better work. But we can't see what your looks like!
