Smile 2017 Sportsmobile Sprinter Penthouse Pop Top for sale

Sportsmobile penthouse powered pop top was installed in 2017. Everything is fully functional. We did re-design the bed so that it is a single piece of solid wood with slightly softer foam that OEM. The OEM bed was far too hard for two people to sleep comfortably. We also extended the bed so that the mattress is now 39"W x 78"L. We are asking $7000 for the pop top and improved bed but that is negotiable as we don't really have a good grasp on what a good price would be.

The pop top is being replaced by CCV pop top so the Sportsmobile top will be available soon to pick up in Loveland CO. If you can't make it to Loveland for pick up there is a possibility we can bring it to you - if you live somewhere along the way from Loveland CO to San Diego, CA. We can work that out if needed.

The used take-off SMB PH tops seem to have been selling here for $2500-$3500 recently. CCV should be able to give you a goo idea of what recent tips have sold for.

Might get more than the ford top since pretty much no one has sold one for a sprinter yet.

Hi Brian, thanks for the reply. CCV said the older ones have typically fold for around $3500 but that we should be able to get more since ours is only 2 years old. But like I said, we are flexible and can't do anything with it now, so we'll pretty much consider any reasonable offer! Thanks again for your input!

Hi Mike! Thanks for your thoughts. I'm think that the SMB pop top can be used on any vehicle that can hold a pop top - they don't make them specifically for Sprinters or Fords, etc. Is that what you meant? Apologies, I'm new to the forum and also not extremely well versed in all things SMB as it seems most of you all are!!!

The mechanisms might be very similar . It would be the fiberglass top that is unique to the vehicle. Roof contours are different.

Yes, didn’t notice it’s a Sprinter top. You should add that to the subject line. I agree I’ve never seen a used one come up, so it should command a premium of some sort.

Thanks Brian! I would love to edit the post...but I am such a newbie I cannot figure out how to do that. I'd like to add details to it as well because it is power, etc. At this point we ideally need to sell it in the next couple of weeks.

CARDIFF. If you end up bringing it home I would not mind taking a look at it and see if I could make it work for me!
