89 FORD SMB EWB 67K PENTHOUSE TOP clean, fair value???

Hello kind of new to Sportsmobiles and this forum. About a year ago, I stumbled upon a 89 Ford E250 351 Sportsmobile, (at a campground ) while camping and bought it. It has the penthouse top(no rips, functional) stove, fridge, microwave,bench seats that become a queen?,pantry, sink, freshwater tank, waste tank, cassette toilet. It is in what I consider good/very good condition inside and out,I have all or at least most original documents/receipts, and it appears to have been stored indoors for most of its life. It only has 67 K miles on it. The owner before me (2nd I think) had replaced batteries,hoses,belts, and rear shocks, and apparently put junkyard cupped/warped/mismatched tires on it before touring the east coast from Maine to Georgia. I have had the ac converted to134A, and changed the tires and had it checked over. When I bought it, I thought it had bad ball joints, but after having it checked out it was all from the horrible tires. The only rust I have found on it is on the tire rack and that is not bad at all. It needs what I consider minor fixes - gas gauge reads empty when switched to one tank (both tanks are functional),and it has a small valve cover oil leak. It could probably use an add-o-leaf n the rear and front shocks. Besides those things,it has been great for the few trips we have taken with it, but I am not sure its ideal for my family, ( I have six yr old twins and after our last trip am now looking at tow behind trailers with more space. My question is if I was going to sell it what price should I ask? I am not sure I want to sell it ,but I think I need to find another camping solution. I dont have a means to post pictures here but can email pics if needed. I was offered 8K soon after I bought it but turned it down because I wanted to keep and use it. Sorry for the long winded question/ description, but I would appreciate any advice,estimates.

Hi;

$8K will get you a much newer unit than the 1989. You'll get fuel injection and an overdrive tranny. Something in the mid 1990's.

I'd say your unit would sell at $3500- $4500. Go find the guy that offered you the $8K!!!!!

I bought an 82 for $1700 last year. More miles than yours and not quite so well cared for.

Mine is an 89 E150 that has most but not all that you describe in yours with 70,000 miles. Bought it last year for $5,000.

I have a 91 E250 SMB, 351, overdrive trans, fuel inj, solar panel, I got for $5,000. 8 years ago. Not a fine as yours, had 150,000mi. Been watching prices, I'd say yours is worth $4,000, if it's nice but you could get more to the right person.
