I think that's a penthouse shower cap. Maybe Jage should get one.

It would be interesting to see how much the hoods would reduce underhood temps. I wonder if they could do ones with the scoop opening to the rear, so it wouldn't draw in as much dust and dirt as a forward facing opening?

How much are they and what does the Ford look like?

They look pretty sporty... I'm assuming there's no actual logistical advantage of the scoop?

So you're building custom hoods? It would be nice to have something made that houses some sort of fan to pull heat out of the engine area. I've always wanted something that doesn't stand out too much. Come up with something nice and you might get interest out of this group; I know I'm interested. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to receive a vendor tag and make something out of it. Keep us posted.

Just an idea, I had a Korean 4x4 Turbo Diesel Van and it had a discrete loover with a fan behind it which was thermostatically operated according to intake temperature measured at the inter-cooler... my 2 cent
