Think VERY carefully before you sell it. If you EVER want a mountain bike or a kayak/canoe with you, you are going to pay hell getting them on top of that van. Might be cheaper to park it in a storage unit for a year to see how the full timing goes without relatively bulky outdoor gear. Cost us $2200 to have a much more primitive trailer built.
Very true. I have been looking at options for packing my Mt bike without the trailer. Aluminess has a rack that mounts on top of my storage box but it is pretty spendy. Yes I was lucky to remember an old peer of mine had a welding shop business and built trailers on the side. Almost spent 4500.00 for a used name brand trailer before remembering him. I just am not sure that I want to haul a trailer across the country all the time. I know I would be giving up a ton of storage though. I am surprised it is not selling. I may rethink this. Thank you.
