That's very similar to our inside layout (except we have an EB Ford). Works well for us.

Unusual place to put the generator, though. Does it not fit underneath on the Dodge vans? Is it loud inside when running?

The gen. is connected to the vans 34gal gas tank. Yes it does run a little loud if your trying to nap.
