Espar Airtronic D4 diesel heater

These are brand new units, they are 24 volt so will have to be operated with a step up converter, $20 to $30 on Ebay or Amazon. I am installing one in my gas van and will run a separate fuel tank for it.
This is what you get;
Airtronic D4 heater and fuel pump, and the install kit (shown in the pictures).
What you'll need;
12v to 24v step up converter (I have a 15 amp one for mine)
You'll also need a thermostat/controller with the wiring harness, $100 on line.

I'm not completely sure that this is all that is needed to make it operational as I'm just getting started with my install. Some of you would know better than me.
$599.95 is what I have them advertised for elsewhere, I'll take care of the shipping to the lower 48.

Hi gw,

Just curious as to a backstory on these. Are they new, or refurbished? Do they still come with a warranty of some sort? The price seems really good, and some people may be thinking like myself “if it’s too good to be true...”.

Thanks for further information!

I'd been looking for a heater for my van, and I really wanted an Espar D4 but didn't want to spend the $2k for one. I ran across these that were being sold at a government auction, they use them in a variety of aircraft and vehicles.
The problem with these type of auctions is there are usually several in a lot that is being sold, I ended up with 9, that gives me one for my van and 8 taking up space in my garage.
They are brand new, not reconditioned, in the original packaging with the warranty/repair documents, the installation and owners manual on CD, the heater with the fuel pump and an install kit.
I'm not trying to make a killing on these but I've got my initial purchase price and fees, at least two days of my time and a 650 mile trip to get them. Again, they are brand new, and I think the price is more than fair.

If you're unhappy for any reason with what you get, send it back and I'll refund you 100%.
They are selling so if you'd like one, don't wait to long.

I'm interested - have you gotten yours up and running yet? If so, any additional significant things that you needed to make it work beyond what you listed? Your price is a great deal, I'm only wary of getting stuck with something that needs a lot of additional item/investigation to get it to work. If you've gotten it figured out on your end, that would be a major security blanket for me.

There's a listing that's still live on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/EBERSPACHER...gAAOSwyvldN5Xi
