Factory Seat and swivel base

I'm looking for a matching seat to make my 2002 E350 XLT a 3 seater. My nieces are coming to visit and I would like to take them on a road trip while they're here. So if you have a grey cloth seat sitting around somewhere you want to get rid of. Let me know.

I need a couple of swivel bases as well.
Thanks

I saved them from the bench seats that came with it.
Thanks though.

Check with Fam Van Parts in Santa Ana, I was there the other day and they had a few... running about $100+ depending on condition.

Re: Factory Seat and swivel base

A van shop near me had a right side gray (although it might have been vinyl ?) seat a while back I can check on it if you want.

As for the swivel bases you might try hear.

Re: Factory Seat and swivel base

while I appreciate the offer, I think by the time I ship it here and have it recovered I could probably find one local for same $$$..

Thanks for the heads up on Discount van. I've checked them out before, seems like somewhere out there, there is a place where all vans go to die, where is that.

Hi;

"there is a place where all vans go to die, where is that"

According to Pntyrmvd that place is my place...

Sadly the swivel bases are spoken for. How about something else?

Regards,

Gavin

Re: Factory Seat and swivel base

Toolman I wish I knew where all of the later model Ford vans end up.I have this vision of finding an 08 up window van with RSC for the rear axle and a bunch of little interior parts. Through the years I used to have a bunch of 1971-1995 GM vans and there are tons of them in the pick and pulls around here but almost no Fords except mid 90s plumber vans that really are junk and not many parts left. I am looking at/for seats this week so if I see one like your I will let you know.

You might try one of these guys and if you have any places that specialize in vans near you you might try them. Here in California if they are using the van as a bus (for a church or small school they have to take out the passengers side front seat so sometimes they have almost new ones.

In addition How is your van going? Someday I will get going on my U-joint install I swear.
DI can't remember did you do a Sterling swap or is your van a full floater Dana 60?

Also can you still get a Snap-On CTB100 9.6 Battery Pack? My old 3/8 impact battery has failed from lack of use and old age since I am not turning wrenches for the past 10 years except at home.

Thanks...Jamie

Well, for one its pretty hard to kill one. Two - any passenger Ford van that drives, or has hopes of driving, gets picked up by the many Fire fighting/forestry/rafting/tour companies every spring as they get the fleets ramped up for the busy season. Some of the fire companies around here have hundreds of Ford vans, all with nice aluminum roof racks, and all are Fords. The other vans just don't hold up long-term when abused daily.
