FORD AUXILIARY IDLE CONTROL MODULE

SOLD

I was recently cleaning out the garage and found this control module that I have never used and probably never will. It should work on Ford vans with 7.3L DIT engines built from 1999 to 2004.

The complete control module kit comes with: Mounting Bracket, Wire Harness, Instruction Manual and Quick Reference Guide

• Connects to the factory wiring harness connector under the instrument panel and digitally interfaces with and commands the Powerstroke engine computer.
• Features LCD readout of RPM and voltage
• Use to increase vehicle alternator output to recharge house battery and for continuous electric loads (A/C, lights, power inverters, etc.).
• Ideal for power take-off (PTO) applications or any application with high auxiliary engine loads (electrical or mechanical)

SOLD Asking $175 cash. I am in Orange County, California. You can pick it up or I will ship it to you.

Re: FORD AUXILIARY IDLE CONTROL MODULE

I keep looking for one for a 6.0. But, all I ever see are for a 7.3 or this one would be sold.

Re: FORD AUXILIARY IDLE CONTROL MODULE

I wonder if there is a difference. I ordered one new with my 2004 6.0. SMB gave me the AIC module, an instruction book and showed me where to plug it in but no mounting bracket as described in the instruction. The point is the instruction manual says for 7.3 DIT Diesel Engines on it.

The module has this sticker:
Ford P/N XC3F-12B640-RB
Sturdy P/N 57D-02965
a serial #
03/15/04

and on the housing:
Sturdy Corp
Wilmington NC

I use it infrequently to charge my small house battery or run engine A/C while camping.
