Re: Ford E-350 4x4 7.3L Diesel Camper Van (Sportsmobile Styl
Just to clear some things here, I bought the van in San Diego from two great folks: Lillian and Steve. At the time they sold it to me they were gathering some capital to buy some real estate and they sold it cheap. I bought it for our annual family trip to Montana and we did not have a single problem with it. My original idea was to sell it right after I got back from the trip because I really didnt need to keep this monster in my front yard. I posted the vehicle for sale and had a nice guy from San Diego who wanted to buy it and he has posted here about it. Yes, he paid for the inspection and I didn't lower my asking price and he didn't buy it. A vehicle is worth as much money as someone will pay for it. I think this awesome van is worth more money than what the current owner is asking, that's my opinion.
Current owner came to pick up the van after he sent a mechanic from the fire department to check the van. This mechanic was at my place for at least an hour checking every detail.
The current person posting the van for sale came also with the current owner to pick it up and off they went all the way to Colorado right after we came down from our long trip to Montana.
If you missed on the deal the first time, don't be sour about it. The inspection showed that the van only needed a couple of things that I'm sure they are fixed as the asking price reflects.
My advice is that if you want to buy a great van built like a real tank, look no further.
I read some people rising doubts about the vehicle and how someone is selling it for a friend, etc. Honestly, I see no wrong on that. I have sold stuff for friends, what's wrong with that?
Current owner and his friend posting it for him are two great people. Jump on the deal if you think you can use it or need it.
Sorry for the long note.
