Ford Front Door Screens for sale
Skreenz brand envelope type bug screens to fit a current style Ford van. Visit the Skreenz website to see how they work and they do work well. They fit over the door as if you were putting a pillow case over the door frame. They are fitted around the mirrors. You end up with two layers of flexible screen and you can run the windows up and down as you like. These are the best screens made and were used once. Perfect. I sold the Ford van and got a Sprinter.
$90+$8 shipping from Skreenz NOW $60 INCLUDING US SHIPPING... what a deal.

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
I don't know Drew but I do know these and they work great for us. We get some ventilation without any bugs and a tailored fit on the van doors.

Yeah, I like my skreenz too... any chance these fit the tow mirrors? I'm about to upgrade and will need to replace my skreenz.

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
Hmmm. Are the Skreenz really like pillowcases: basically two pieces of mesh with a seam on three sides?
If so, then do you think a gusset could be added by opening the top seam and inserting stretchable fabric, so that the Skreenz could work with window vents?
If that's the case, I might be interested, either in Drew or Jage's set.

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
When you come up here you will not need them, if you don't roll your window down more then a inch the skeeters can't fit in the gap
They are big enough that we have a hunting season for them.

They are. You could, but if you can put stitching back half as nice as you take out, you might as well just start from screen and sew yourself up a pair!

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
Yeah, I've thought about that, and sketched out a pattern or two. I can use the fiberglass screen cloth sold at Home Depot, etc. However, the Skreenz website seems to indicate that their fabric has stretch on the bias, which adds to a tight fit. How "stretchy" is the Skreenz fabric?

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
The Skreenz fit really, really well, which is what allows them to be successfully open on the bottom. I think some good quality common window/door screen would be exactly the same, but the fit seems to be in the craftsmanship not the material, at least to me. It's literally like a glove, and really well made. I won't hesitate to pick up another pair for my new mirrors, however cutting an existing pair up to fit window vents seems contrary to what, in my opinion, makes these a great product.

Re: Ford Front Door Screens for sale
They should fit over the towing mirrors if you fold the mirrors back when you put the Skreenz on.
